About Course

The CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) is a basic computer literacy program conducted by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology. It is designed to provide essential computer knowledge and digital skills to beginners.

Course Content

Introduction to Computer
Basic knowledge of computers—history, types, hardware (keyboard, CPU, monitor), and software. Helps you understand how a computer works.

Operating System (GUI Based)
Learn how to use systems like Windows—file handling, folders, control panel, settings, and basic operations like copy, paste, delete.

Word Processing
Creating documents using tools like Writer/MS Word—typing, formatting, saving, printing, tables, etc.

Spreadsheets
Working with data using tables (Excel/Calc)—formulas, charts, calculations, and data management.

Presentation
Creating slides using presentation software—adding text, images, animations, and slideshow.

Internet & WWW
Basics of internet, web browsers, websites, URL, IP address, and how to search information online.

E-mail, Social Networking & E-Governance
Using email, sending attachments, and platforms like social media. Also includes government services like online booking, digital locker, and apps.

Digital Financial Tools & Applications
Cashless transactions—UPI, mobile banking, ATM, cards, and online payments. Also awareness of government financial schemes.

Cyber Security
Staying safe online—password protection, avoiding hacking, phishing, viruses, and safe internet usage.

Future Skills & Artificial Intelligence (NEW Topic)
Basic idea of AI, machine learning, and modern technologies. This is a newly added topic in the latest syllabus.
